My Q is going crazy and I am trying so hard to stick it out and not get a new one...if I do then I have to renew my contract...so we will see who wins iphone or sprint...

I think the biggest selling point for me was a combination of how lame my current phone is with web surfing and remembering that awesome Saturday night (PeteStalk ) trying to help wildeoscar at Universal... The luxury of having 3G internet available along with the other functionality, donwloadable apps...

I just need to convince myself to leave Verizon...which has excellent coverage where I am.. for AT&T, about which I've heard many horror stories regarding coverage and customer service...

I've heard the horror stories about AT&T too but have never had that experience.

If you go to www,att.com and click on the iPhone 3G link, there is a coverage finder at the top of the page that will help you see what it's like in your area.

Also....with the 3G phone, you switch to the Edge network if 3G is not available.

Susan & I just finished mowing/weeding/pruning/dehydrating... using a 2007 refillable mug. No pools to hop here. iPhone yet to come. Should be good at using it by the cruise.. Maybe some DIS apps are forthcoming. You never know what those guys (and gals) have up their sleeves...

Found out by first-hand experience that AT&T is rapidly expanding its 3G coverage. We've only had our iPhones for less than 3 weeks. Prior to that I had checked the map to see if our home area had 3G service and found we were in a "hole" where they didn't. But sometime last week I started getting 3G service all around town so they've filled in the hole.

So post 1000....does this mean you will stop using the lame excuse of not having enough posts to know what is going on around here? (jk, of course, but I have to give you grief or else it wouldn't be me!)

I do appreciate the spell check in the previous post - I really do. Just wanted to say thanks (Not kidding there...really!)

Anyway, onto the iPhone discussion... we can upgrade phoes in Nov which can't come soon enough because I have serious iPhone envy. We already have AT&T so no jump to another carrier... DH says he can't decide between the iPhone and blackberry - I don't know why he just can't listen to me? If he doesn't get the iPhone and I do, HE'LL have iPhone envy and that will just be TOUGH LUCK (since the contract is two years!) I've surveyed everyone on our forum here and everyone has pretty much agreed they can't live without the phone. Maybe one day he'll listen to me.

Surprisingly, we are on page 4 and there has been more talk about phones than food.... what is this thread coming to?????? Anyway, congrats Jason!
