All of you Disney pro's out there....
Is there a typical schedule that is followed for MVMCP.
We are planning a trip in both Dec 2004 and Dec 2005 and would like to plan the party into it.
Does the party typically run Tues/Thurs/Sun, etc.
We were to the party on a Sunday 2001 and totally loved it.
TIA.

That typically is the schedule but as always, make sure you check the schedule.

It's a great time, isn't it?

I do tell people though that go to the party, NOT to try to get on a ton of rides, but to soak up the Holiday Flavor of WDW and the Magic Kingdom. It's a wonderful place to be over the winter.

This year it was Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday from Nov 30 to Dec 19. The 3 Friday nights sold out.

May I suggest that you avoid the Friday night MVMCP shows, and particuarly the last MVMCP show?

We did the MVMCP on 12/14 which was awesome! We rode almost every ride at MK with time to do some of the shows too. This was a Sunday night show. The crowds were definately managable.

12/19 was a Friday night, last show of the season, sold out show. It was too busy to do much of anything. We rode 2 rides, got out picture taken, watched the fireworks and the parade. That was it. The crowds were just nuts.

Just something to think about. Maggie

Actually I mean't to say that don't expect to go to a MVMCP just to take advantage of small crowds. Because of staffing at the Magic Kingdom, you'll find that fewer queue lines are running and fewer cast members getting you on rides....as well as fewer ride lines running. It evens out.

So: MVMCP is not really to get on rides faster......as it is a wonderful party in the evening with the holiday theming and music and of course, the great parade and fireworks, as well as the castle show.

We did Sunday night for both MVMCP and Halloween party. Totally loved it. We were able to ride all of the rides without lines, and took in all the sights. Saw the parades and fireworks and had such an awesome time. I would never go on a Friday because it would be locals as well as tourists and would be CROWEDED! It is just an awesome experience, one that you really can't describe.

I booked two MVMCP 12/12 a Fri and 12/15 a Mon. Fri sold out and the crowds were unbelievable. Mon. we walked on everywhere. What a difference!!
