I just booked tickets to MVMCP on November 12 - any other Canadian DIS'ers going to be there? It was $165 USD for 2 adults and 1 child - apparently I saved $18 by booking in advance. I did the e-ticket and printed it off on my computer - has anyone had experience with the e-ticket at the gates with it not working or anything? Thanks!:)

We are not going until December, but have done the E-Tickets before on previous trips. You actually have to take that ticket to guest services (We use the one at DTD, since it's never busy) and they exchange them for the actual tickets... that work in the turnstiles and look just like the ones you normally use. You can not take the eticket to the gate for access.

It's a great time! Have fun! (We have done the MVMCP 3 times now, and are looking forward to our 4th.

Actually, thanks to recent technological improvements, Disney's eTickets issued for select Special Events at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, including Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park, can now be presented directly at the Theme Park turnstile upon entry.

Simply present your Disney's eTicket upon arrival at the special event. A Park Greeter Host or Hostess will scan the ticket and return it to you. You will use the Disney's eTicket for re-entry - Readmission Tickets will not be issued.

I've been toying with taking my DD back for a girls only trip...daddy will be overseas for a few weeks so I thought it would be a good way to not miss him too much....anyway if we go, we will be there and going to MVMCP on the 12th.

It's hard to decide because I have wanted go and see all the Christmas lights and decor for a few years now. I know that I wont be able to do it next year(we are booking 2 weeks in August) and this year we are getting new windows and I'm also looking at some furniture....so sad but I can't do it all. I will have to decide very soon though as airfares are getting a little bit higher.

My brother and I are going this Dec also,,,I have done the MVMCP and it was great--just another thing you might want to look into is the
"Wishes Dessert Party"
We are going to try that this year--still get to see the parade and fireworks but reserved seating by the tomorrowland noodle station and all you can eat Disney Desserts --great assortment of milk pop-lemonade etc also.

We did the dessert party on our last trip. It is awesome - so many different and delicious desserts. I think that my son ate his worth in Chocolate Covered Strawberries. The reserved seating was great. We had pre-ordered the Photopass CD so got lots of awesome pictures at the Dessert Buffet with the Castle in the background. There is one dedicated photopass photographer who is happy to take lots of pictures if there is no line up.

Have a wonderful time.:wizard:
