All right guys, I have never done the MVMCP, and I am thinking about doing it the last night we are there on Nov. 19th (We leave at 9:55 am the next morning) I am thinking about doing it as a suprise. Do you think it is worth the price? 56.00 per adult is pretty steep, and I will have to buy four. Another thing is, I have dinner resv. at Liberty tree at 6:30 pm that night. What time does the MVMCP start? It will be 7:30 or 8:00 before we leave Liberty Tree, how do they seperate us, from the MVMCP crowd. Do they escort you out? Would it be worth it? Thanks!

Yes, it is awesome!! We do it every year (except last year because we did the MNSSHP) and everyone loves it! This year, we will be there on 12/15. This time, there will be 7 of us going.

If you choose to not to the party, when you are through dining, they will take you out. If you are doing the party, you can get into the park at 4 PM, do your reservation at 6:30, then keep going with the fun. On days that we are doing the parties, we don't do a park since we will be at MK for 8 hours that evening. We usually hang out at DTD and relax so we will have lots of energy for the party! Last year at MNSSHP, we went on SM 8 times and never waited at all. It was too fun!

We have 50 days until our next party... not that I'm counting or anything... :rolleyes1

MVMCP starts at 7 pm. Party guests get a wrist band to identify them from the other guests. Starting around 7 pm all guests will be directed to the front of the park, only guests with wristbands will be allowed in the attractions. I have heard that guests without wristbands weren't allowed to use the restrooms.:confused3

We will be at the party on Nov 19 too! Yes it is def worth the cost if you have never done it....I would not waste my time at a CS meal when I could be at the party. I would change it to a much earlier time or go to a nice TS for lunch and CS for dinner

I absolutely believe it's worth the price. The special shows, and parade make it worth it but then being able to practically walk onto the rides is great.. If you never have before, try Splash Mountain in the dark.
I prefer to have an early dinner outside the park so I'm there by 7 when everything gets going. Whispering Canyon Cafe is our favorite. Enjoy!

I would absolutely do the party! It is sooo worth it. As for your dinner ressie, if you choose not to do the party you will be escorted to the exit by a CM as soon as you are done eating.

We are also looking forward to our first mvmcp. Although I am disappointed twas the night before xmas will no longer be running.

As long as the event is not sold out on the night you are going, you should be able to enjoy it. However, if it is sold out, you may find yourself unable to move 2 feet without a major effort. I went last year and there is no way I would go again. Maybe when my DD is a teenager and able to battle the crowds for herself, but last year at age 6, it was enough just making sure she wasn't run over by the masses.

Not trying to hi-jack the thread, but does anyone know the latest date you can pre-order MVMCP tickets and get the discount? The reason I aske is we will be at WDW a full week prior to the MVMCP we want to attend and was thinking we might just wait until we're there to pre-order the tickets. I also thought this way I'd have a better idea if the party we want to attend is sold out or not. If it's sold out we don't want to go.

If this will work, how do you get the tickets, will call?

Thanks!!!

I think that it was totally worth it to do it once. My husband and I did it when we went a few years back. I don't regret paying the money for it. The parade is beautiful and the castle drapped in the white lights is amazing. It is cool to see snow falling in Florida ( it doesn't last long, it melts before it hits the ground). Mostly all of the rides are open and there are christmas shows to see. I think that party started at 7 or 8 but there are two parade times and you really wouldn't want to miss it. I would say to go for it. :santa:

We have done the Christmas Party and we really enjoyed it. I don't think you willhave to worry about a sold out date in Nov. The parade is so awesome. Then when you are home for Christmas, you can watch it on TV, and say I saw that!! I would do something different on the day of the party. I would not use a park ticket that day since you can get in to MK with the party ticket at 4. I think I would try to get an earlier ADR for LTT. Say 4 or 4:30, then you will not have to stop to eat, excrpt for the cookies and Hot Chocolate. Have a great time.

If the party is not sold out, you can buy the tickets at the entrance otherwise keep checking WDW website for special tickets it will tell you right there on the website if that particular date is sold out plus as soon as you purchase the ticket, you can either pick up at will call or print at home(that's what we do)

Last year we did the party after a 12 year absence and we cannot wait to do it again this year 11/29! The castle lights, the dance party with characters, the shows, the parade, holiday wishes, free cocoa and cookies and of course the snow make it all worth it plus nobody can get you in the Holiday Spirit better than Disney!!!
