We will be at disney the first week of Dec using the last of our 10 day tickets up. does the MVMCP take extra tickets to attend or is it treated as an extra hour night and just get waistbands as a normal extra hr park? if extra tickets ar required how early do they go on sale and where can you get them? is this a limited number that can go to this event? Is dvc memebers quaranteed to get tickets for this? will we miss much going so early in the month?

You need to purchase extra tickets for this. The MK closes at 6 or 7 on MVMCP nights. I believe they are about $39 for adults, not sure for kids. Just call CRO and you can order them. But in my opinion, it's not worth the money. We did the party 2 years ago the first week of Dec also. We went to MK the day before the party and did everything we wanted to on that day. During the party it was so crowded!! You had to get to shows over an hour in advance to get a seat and even then, we were in the last row and my DD7 had to sit on my lap.

If you decide to go, make sure you find a spot for the parade at LEAST an hour ahead, but be prepared for people to try to push you over at the last minute. Hold your ground!!! I'm sure you will hear different opinions on this party. Some people thinks is great, but for me it was WAY more crowded than I was expecting and not worth the time and money. Whatever you decide, have a great time. It's a really good time to go to WDW. We will be there from Nov.29 - Dec.6 again this year, but we are skipping MVMCP.

I'm doing this for the first time this year and I can't wait!!! Crowd levels will vary with what day you are going. I wouldn't go on the weekend!! I plan on going on a Tuesday.

I ordered my tickets off of Disneys website. There are discount rates available for DVC members but only on select dates. Check the DVC website for that info. I can't remember the dates I just know it wasn't when I was going to be there.

I'm doing it because it will probably be the only time I'm there at Christmas. Try it, you may like it. And remember one person may think it's crowded and another may not and they can both be there the same day.
