We will be at disney the first week of Dec using the last of our 10 day tickets up. does the MVMCP take extra tickets to attend or is it treated as an extra hour night and just get waistbands as a normal extra hr park? if extra tickets ar required how early do they go on sale and where can you get them? is this a limited number that can go to this event? Is dvc memebers quaranteed to get tickets for this? will we miss much going so early in the month?

MVMCP is a seperate ticketed event, it is not covered by your regular park tickets.

It's a hard ticket, after park closes event and you must purchase a ticket to it to attend it.

They are already on sale and you can buy them from Disney over the phone, online or in person.

Yes, there is a limited number and certain night can sell out like the last one and some Fridays.

DVC members only get a discount (new this year) on certain night but are not guaranteed tickets. If they sell out, they sell out.

Going early in the month, you won't get to see the Christmas parade or fireworks or the special Christmas shows UNLESS you attend the MVMCP.

Also, the parks close earlier.
