MVMCP worth it?

I'm glad we did it the one time. I wouldn't do it again unless they had something very new and special and cut down on tickets sold.

But a $100 Christmas Parade? I'm not quite sure I can get there....
Same here! No way would I pay $100 per ticket just for the parade and some snow. That's quite laughable! :lmao: Sorry but that's just me. Even with the fireworks, its still not worth the heavy price tag.

OP, especially in your case with a baby who might not make it for the fireworks, your basically paying for the parade. I'd wait til the baby is older.

Thank you! I actually just sat right on Main St the entire night to have a great spot for the parade to get these photos. My daughter and friend did all the other party stuff.
Being a professional photographer these were images I really really wanted. :)
STUNNING pictures!! wow! Absolutely gorgeous. I hope you framed some of those.

keep in mind that prices will be increased next year and be even higher. this is our first trip where MVMCP will be held and I seriously considered it but decided that even though I can afford it (Disney Visa Rewards) as a consumer I am not going to pay what I consider an outrageous price ($290) for my family of 3 Disney adults.
I watched the posts last year and saw more and more comments about how crowded the parties have become the last few years and that makes me feel its just not worth the price.

traveling with the my sister and she flat out said "no way" to the ticket prices. Sis is going to take the younger kids to Minnie's Holiday Dine dinner so they can see the characters in their Holiday outfits while I have the older ones on rides.

Just want to chime in and say we really loved Minnie's Dine at H &V! It was a lot of fun and the food was awesome. Enjoy!

Even though the price is steep, I think doing the party at least once is a must.

Thank you! Yes, most definitely I did. Worth every single minute I sat there waiting for the parade.

We really enjoyed the Christmas party! I liked it better than the Halloween one. Definitely worth it to me!

I liked it, but wasnt worth in IMO.. And that's been almost 10 years ago I think..

We have not been to the Christmas party but went to the Halloween one last year. It was fun but not worth the money with little ones IMHO. Our 3 year old and 5 year old were asleep for the parade and stage show. Only our 8 year old was awake but couldn't see much (even with a great spot) because people pushed in front of us when the CM wasn't looking. We found it way to crowded! We would not consider doing any of the parties until the children are older. Too much money for little ones that might sleep through the whole thing!

Value is in the eye of the beholder......................My wife and I did the MVMCP last December and loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Value wasn't thought of. We took the opportunity to try some different things at the MK. 7DMT at night.......Fireworks from Gaston's Tavern. We also loved the show in Tomorrowland too! Its very difficult to take someone elses point of view on this. I'm of the opinion "now" its worth it "at least one time!"............I have the same attitude about the Aloha Show at the Poly. The party keeps pretty much the same form year after year............so you can skip it.............we're taking my brother and his family this year.............I can't wait to see the kids faces during the parade!

Question is very subjective...............cost will drive many to say no............but as I've said..............I'm glad we did it (and we're doing it again :) ) both my wife and I found it worth it.

Doug :goofy:

It was so worth it for this. The Christmas Parade!

Your pictures are wonderful. Thank you for sharing them.

People say a picture is worth 1000 words, but I don't think it is worth $100. (not your photos, but the parade)
