MVMCP with Adults Only Questions

Been to MVMCP twice and MK many times. Going with a group of 5 adults...one has never been to MK and this will be the only day. So, with that in mind....

1. Can you see wishes from pretty much anywhere? I usually have a spot but don't want to be committed to the time line.

2. Would you see more of the holiday shows or do more rides?

3. If I had to pick between the Mickey's Twas the night before xmas show and the castle court show....??

4. What other holiday happenings during the party would take precedence over riding?

You can see much of Wishes from much of the park. But some of the fireworks plus the projections can only be seen from key viewing spots.

One holiday show + parade + wishes is about right for me.

Castle Court show over Mickey's TTNBC, but take whichever fits your schedule better.

Are you only going for 1 day, or are you going to be at the parks for several? If for several, I would suggest riding the rides during the parade on MVMCP-specific nights, and viewing the parade on general public nights.

Be careful when Wishes starts; don't be near any trees. It sounds silly, but the trees around Frontierland got in the way of everything for me, last year. We were eating when they started, and I actually had to get up, leave the table, and scramble to the nearby bridge just to get a decent view.

I don't know much about the Christmas Shows. I do know that each park has their own little thing; Epcot's Candlelight Processional and Holiday Illuminations are supposedly spectacular, and MGM has the Osborne Family's Festival of Lights.

Whatever you do during MVMCP, you're going to have a lot of fun, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
