MVMCP - Which night is less crowded?

I am hoping I picked right by choosing a Monday night. For those of you who have gone, what are Mondays like during the party? I know Fridays and Saturdays are typically the most crowded. Based on the different poll threads, the 12/18 party has very few people going.

Also, if it is sold out, can you still be able to see everything? I am not too concerned with the rides. We will be spending the day at MK. We have ADRs for LTT at 5:30 so we won't have to worry about dinner.

I am just excited to be at Disney around Christmas!

I'm not too sure about Monday parties but I went to a sold out event...and while it was crowded, we got to see the parade, watch the shows, and ride some rides. Be sure to get in line early for your family photo because the line gets extremely long.

Also, the wait for cookies and cocoa seemed to be 0 at the Columbia Harbour House location.

Excellent idea going to the Christmas party. It was very memorable and we had a great time!

I suggest if you have time go to around the resorts and check out their christmas decorations....Especially the Grand Floridian.

My instincts would tell me that Monday is a good night because the locals will be coming on a Friday or Saturday. JUST a guess though.

We picked 12/11 for our party night for a couple of reasons.

The biggest is because it my DS' 10th b-day and he really wanted to go on that night. We thought about going on the 14th but with the AP discount given we wondered if it was going to be a bit busier that night. Nothing else to base it on except that we thought a Monday night would be less busy than others, at least we hope so!

We have always gone on Thursday nights and we have always had a wonderful time!! This year will be our 5th MVMCP!

We are going Tuesday, December 5. We hope our choice is still good also. This will be our third time at the party. The other 2 were a Tuesday and a Thursday. They both seemed to be pretty good as far as crowd goes, but you never know.

Can I just say "drats" and that I am jealous? LOL!

I say that because last year I went ON December 18th for my birthday and that was one of the last parties .... on a weekend ... so it was sold out!

Considering that this year it's not one of the last three ... and that it's on a Monday night ... I think you will be fine!

Go & have fun! Last year Santa told me "happy birthday" from the parade float 'cause he saw my button! My kids mouths were on the floor! It was great!
