MVMCP Tip

This is how I like to start a MVMCP.

Go to Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café in time to eat the evening meal BEFORE the Party starts at 7:00 PM.

Then,right at 7:00 PM,one of the neatest things happens when Sonny Eclipse "rises" up into the "ceiling" and the Dance Party DJ rises "up" from The Utilidors.(The Parties are some of the few times Guests can see this happen.)

The Dance Party begins immediately so that one can be checked off the list right at the start of MVMCP and by eating BEFORE the Party starts,you don't waste valuable Party time eating(except for the Cookies!).

Need advice and tips please!

Going to MVMCP on 11/20 and will be at MK all day.

1. Can you only see Santa,try to buy a MVMCP magic band, get the Elsa SOMK card, and other MVMCP shirts or pins during the party time? Do they wait until 7 to put it out or can you get them at 4.

2. Is the Jungle Cruise doing the Jingle Cruise Thing during the day as well or is it strictly a Christmas Party thing.

Thanks for the tips! would really like to get some of the merchandise but afraid some of it will sell out.

For MNSSHP party this year, you could pick up the Halloween SOMK card before 7, as long as you were wearing your party band. Not sure what time they started letting people have them, but I think we got ours around 6:00 p.m. My guess is they will probably do that for MVMCP as well.

For the merchandise, in past years at MVMCP and this year at MNSSHP party, our experience has been they do not start selling it until 7:00. For MNSSHP party this year, the locations where they sold merchandise were reduced from the locations that had merchandise in the past. I don't know if MVMCP is going to be the same. In our this year's MNSSP experience the pins sold out really fast in the store locations other than Frontierland- much quicker than we had seen in the past- however, Frontierland had the pins and magic bands late into the party. I picked some up this year around 9:45 in Frontierland and I saw no signs they were selling out of anythings. They had a ton (this was the 2nd week of October). As far as the shirts, I don't remember them having those in Frontierland, but they might have. For shirts, you probably do need to get to one of the other stores fairly early, or the sizes you want moight be gone.

The Jingle Cruise is for ALL hours-regular and MVCP.

They have also added some more theming this year.

We did exactly that last year by accident and it was great! While we were eating right in front of us the elf DJ came up and the party started. We were right on the dance floor. Dancing with Santa Goofy was the best way to start our night.

I bought a pin and a shirt at Star Traders during the 11/7 party. The pins were going fast and someone was restocking shirts at 9:30.
