Does anyone know if you can sell unused MVMCP tickets?? I have tickets for 2 adults on Dec. 5th and there may be a possibility that I may not get to use them. Is that something I can sell on Ebay???

Thanks!

I don't believe you can sell them mainly due to the fact that it should have your last name printed in small letters on the back. At least our does. And as I recall you need to show ID with the ticket to get the wristband.
You could try calling WDW and seeing if they can refund you and cancel the tickets. You might have to send them back, tho.

I'm looking at my unused voucher from last year. It's Basically a plastic Ticket like a Magic your way ticket that you exchange for a bracelet once inside the park, at least that's the way I remember it. You're not supposed to sell them (it says on the back nontransferable and revocable) and WDW will not refund them.

I have read on here of people selling them. I'm not sure if you are allowed to, but I know people have. As for a name being on the ticket, I pulled out the last five years of tickets to MNSSHP (yes, we keep EVERYHTHING from our trips......weird, I know) and none of them have our names on them. Maybe adding the names on is something new this year. I think the bottom line is that Disney wouldn't want you making $ off of a transaction.

I just thought of something. We are going to MVMCP this year. As with MNSSHP we have our tickets held at the resort for will call. We were told as long as we cancel 5 days before we arrive we can get a full refund and that includes the party tickets as well. Now maybe they will refund the party tickets because they are held at will call or maybe they will refund because the whole reservation is cancelled, but they did say we could get the $ back. :confused3

You do not need to show ID to use a MVMCP ticket.

OP, I've sent you a PM ;)

All I know is that my ticket for Nov 13/06 has our last name on the bottom right corner on back. and the fine print states: Nontransferable: must be used by the same person on any and all days.
They also state: Ticket and Ticket Tag Biometric confirmation required for entry.
And yes, I have had to show ID for entry before. Just because they are lax sometimes doesn't mean they'll do it all the time. In fact, all of my previous WDW and DL resort key/ticket state on the back: Card (resort) and ID required for admission; Hand stamp, card and ID required for re-admission.
Plus, if you are staying at the resort and your resort key is your park ticket how does it look if your last name is different than the one on the MVMCP ticket?
All I have to add is, why take a chance?

For the MVMCP and MNSSHP, you do not have to show id to get entry. The tickets can be transferred as long as they have not been used (just like any other WDW ticket.) Once they have been used/activated, they can only be used by the same person. These tickets are a one time only use ticket and Disney doesn't care who uses them.

You wouldn't be showing your room/park key and a special event ticket, so why the question about how it would look :confused3

I also had two tickets that I'm not able to use, I called Disney and was told I could not get a refund however I could give them to someone else to use as.

the confirmation i printed out when i bought mine says right on it that tickets are non-refundable....not to be a buzzkill or anything

I just looked at my tickets for this year. It does have my last name printed on the back. I think the name is tied to person who made the reservation, though. We do not all have the same last name, even though we're staying in the same room. The reservation is in my name. I don't remember them asking me the names of the people attending MVMCP. It could also just be the name of the person who bought the tickets. The ticket does say nonrefundable and nontransferable, must be used by the same person on any and all days. It also says valid ONLY: 11/13/2006.

I think anyone could use the ticket as long as they used it for that particular night.

I already have mine for 11/27 and 11/28 this year. Our name is not on them. It simply says valid only on November 27, 2006, etc. In the last 5 years that we have been (typically 2 MVMCP during the week) we have not had to show ID. They only ask for the ticket and then give the wristband. I was going to write what the fine print said on the back of the tickets but couldn't read it. I would think that you could "sell it" to someone else ... what Disney doesn't want is for you to sell it for more monies and make a profit, I would think. But, they will not refund it.

Hey guys! Thanks for all the advice, but it ends up that I don't have tickets to sell now and that we are going to the party-YEAH!!
