Ok, so I waited too long the MVMCP tickets for the date I wanted were sold out. We hadn't been in years and we really wanted to go, so I went to Vivid Seats and bought tickets on the secondary market. They were delivered as promised... so far so good.
When I logged into My Disney Experience to add the tickets to my account, it said they were already linked to an account. I'm assuming they were linked automatically to the account that purchased them.
I called Disney to see if they could switch them to my account, but obviously without the name and email address of the original seller, they could not be switched. Vivid Seats doesn't provide the information of the original seller.
So, should I be worried that the original sellers might use them just by scanning their MagicBand? If they attempt to do that, then basically whoever scans first, my tickets or their MagicBand gets admission. Do they still use the wrist tags for the parties and how early can I scan my MVMCP tickets that day to get a wrist tag?
Has anyone done this before with good or bad results?
