MVMCP tickets - how early to buy?

I am going to be at Disney World from 12/7 - 12/16 and was just wondering how early should I get tickets for MVMCP? I am afraid to purchase to early bc my DBF who is going with is in between jobs and afraid plans might change due to a new job. Do they normally sell out early and if so any idea when that is?

'Normally', they do not sell out, other than for weekends. Also, possible, the AP discount evenings.
