We were there on the 14th and it was listed as sold out. One Caveat to this report - the skies split around 5:30, and it rained, HARD until about 7pm. It stopped for a while, then sprinkled lightly the rest of the evening. So, I don't know if that kept people away or not (didn't keep us away - not at $40 a piece!). That said...
We had a lovely time! The longest wait was 10 minutes for BTMRR, but it was only because the parade had just finished 5-10 minutes before (don't know exactly when, we were in our Laughin' Place!). Other than that, we walked onto all the rides we wanted to see. The cocoa and cookies were very, very good (we got snickerdoodles in Frontierland); however, we had bypassed the location in the Columbia Harbor House because it was a ZOO! The parade was great! The fireworks were good, and probably would have been fantastic if it hadn't been for the rain and clouds keeping the smoke very low.
We didn't see any of the Christmas Party hats for sale, but they did have special mugs, pins, shirts and stuffed reindeer (with that cute little tounge hanging out!).
Hope this helps!
