MVMCP Question

SIL is taking her family to WDW and they have tickets for MVMCP. They are staying offsite and do not plan to use a day on their hoppers on the night of the party. Can they still get in at 4pm? Is there an hour between closing and party time, if so would counter service be open? Thanks in advance, she has 3 kids aged 1, 3, and 8, so I don't want her wasting time if this isn't true!

They have always let mvmcp ticket holders in early but to be safe she should get priority seating somewhere. If this year is totally different, she can walk the short distance to Contemporary and enjoy the beach or arcade or even rest in the lobby with the kids.

They did let us in when we got to MK at 5 for MNSSHP this year. We got in 3 rides before going to eat at Pecos Bills and by the time dinner was finished, the party was beginning. It was great!
