MVMCP Question

It has been over 10 years since I have been in WDW during the MVMCP season, and I am considering taking my 3year old. I see that the events start on November 10th. Are the parks and hotels decorated by then? I recall the decorations being "magically' put up the day after Thanksgiving.

The decorations go up at the various parks and resorts over time.

They will be up at MK by the first MVMCP.

Other locations will still be adding decorations... likely up until Nov. 28, when the WDW Christmas season starts in earnest.

We plan to be at MVMCP on the first night. Here's hoping for a little(very little) Christmas weather in the air so the hot cocoa tastes even better!

We went to the very first MVMCP last year and it was awesome!
And all the decorations were up at all the other parks and resorts as well

I have a short easy question for those who know...

The tickets say they are valid for 7pm to 12am on the date you've chosen, but I thought I'd heard they will let you in the gates of the MK as early as 4 or 5pm on that day?
We are hoping to not use a day off our park hopper tickets to get into MK as we have other (non-Disney) plans.

I believe that you can get in with MVMCP tickets as early as 4 pm.
