How important is it to buy tickets in advance? Will they sell out? I was just thinking it might be nice to decide when we are there if there is nice weather one night, rather than being set in on a certain date.

Yes, you can purchase on the same day but certain dates do sell out so if you wanted to go on a specific night while there, you may be out of luck. Also, Fridays are usually more expensive and the weekends are more crowded.

Better to be safe than sorry. I bought ours last week for 12/19. The closer it gets to Christmas the busier it gets also. I didnt want to take any chances on being sold out. We did this last year and loved it, but it was also November and not crowded at all.

Friday nights usually sellout. I've gone on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday at the beginning of December and just bought the tickets when I got there. There was one year where the weather was bad and I bought them the afternoon of the party when it cleared up.

I'm so glad that you asked this question! I was wondering the same thing! We're going to WDW November 28 (Tuesday) through November 30. I haven't gotten my tickets yet as a friend said that they were no longer going and were going to give me theirs as a favor (WDW said that this was fine), but they've been in the hospital, so no tickets. I'm having a hard time contacting them, and hate to wait until the last second to buy them, but also don't want to buy them and have them end up mailing me the tickets.
