MVMCP question about ticket/timing

We have MVMCP tix for our first day at the parks. We are staying 8 days/7 nights and I could buy our tickets from a discount vendor ahead of time if I do 7 day passes - otherwise I have to go thru WDW and it's just slightly higher.

IF we choose NOT to go to a park on the arrival day, can we count on getting in with our party tickets at 5:15 for our Tony's ressie and then head to Tommorrowland or is there a chance we'll have to burn a day of our passes?

Check with Disney but i believe you can get in at 4 on your MVMCP ticket

4 PM is the normal time they let in party ticket holders.

Thanks all....that's what I thought I had seen at some point, so we should be safe with our dinner ressies.

I'm not sure what I want to do yet, but just trying to figure out the possibilities before I buy passes.

Yes, we were allowed to enter MK at 4 pm on the night of MVMCP

We usually go on the day of arrival (arrival from the Wonder Cruise Ship )

We stay at WL and head over to MK around 4. We had ressies at LTT a couple of years ago before the party.

This year we are eating at Tony's also at 5:15 - hmmm interesting.

Are you flying to Orlando? Looks like you already purchased tickets to the Christmas party for your arrival day. But if it were me and I were flying, I wouldn't buy non-refundable party tickets for my arrival day.

Thanks NancyIL for the good thought. But we are actually coming in the night before into Tampa (remaining seats into Orlando from Providence were too steep for my taste for this last minute trip) so we have almost 20 hours till MVMCP from scheduled touchdown. We should be okay unless there's a horrible snowstorm in the NE in which case we'll try to get ourselves out earlier on 11/16. It was the only day we could do MVMCP.
