MVMCP Pros/Cons Help

I am flying down to Orlando in a scant three weeks. I have the option of either doing a Magic Kingdom Day or doing MVMCP. The week I am going has four parties out of my five available days in Orlando. The other night I am planning to go to Jollywood Nights, since Hollywood Studios isn't my favorite park, but that would be a great way to get in the rides I want to without having to fight for Lightning Lanes. For someone who isn't all that into the Holiday theming, for the purposes of going on the rides, would it be worthwhile to purchase a ticket to MVMCP, or would I be better off just going on a standard ticket day? Some pros and cons to help me compare would be appreciated as well. Thank you.

If you don’t care about the holiday theming, I'd consider going to MK on a regular ticket on a party day. Wait times are typically low, especially if you go for early entry or at park opening, you'll probably get a lot done and some re-rides.

Pros of a day ticket on party day:
Lower wait times
Not crowded walkways, etc.
Probably cheaper ticket for a day ticket than party ticket (?)

Cons of a day ticket:
Have to leave park at 6 p.m.
If you prefer to not get up early
Park will be busier between 4 and 6 p.m. when crowds overlap

I've used this strategy several times on MNSSHP party days, but not MVMCP. I'd imagine it's similar on a MVMCP day though.

I can't speak to pros/cons for MVMCP because we go for the party events and do minimal rides.

So the pros and cons of doing the day ticket are what I would have listed.

The pros for the MVMCP:
You can get on a lot of rides fairly quickly
You can get your wristband a few hours before the party starts and enjoy that time riding the rides

Cons:
Yeah, the crowds for the holiday parties are there, but when I went last year I didn't find it terrible until it was time to head back to the hotel (but we were walking back anyways and left a little early)

Some rides might still have a wait that you may not want to deal with and will pass up the ride (Tron, Tianas, SDMTR)

Food options are limited if you didn't eat ahead of time

For me another pro of MVMCP is being in the MK late at night. I love the late night atmosphere, already have AH tickets for March. I was going to do MNSSHP but hurricane Helene happened; will be back in Dec for MVMCP and Jollywood. Tiana is standby instead of VQ during the parties I think, people were lining up for it at 6 PM for a short wait. Tron line should be shorter during the fireworks. People with kids start leaving before midnight and the park gets emptier.

I am actually doing Jollywood on November 13th. I never spend a lot of time in Hollywood Studios anyway, and would prefer evening hours to daylight(easier for me to tolerate since I’m heat sensitive). Figured that would be a good day to go to a movie in Disney Springs or Mini Golf or something.

At Magic Kingdom specifically, I think you will get on more attractions by using a day ticket and lightning lanes. MVMCP has been crowded the past few years, so lightning lane waits are often shorter than the party lines. I would probably compare the costs of doing both, and if they were close, I would do a normal day.

Looking to be a $5-$10 difference but won’t know til next week for sure.

If you do the parties do the earliest date on your trip in case they cancel you can still go to the later date party.

There are plenty of options for MVMCP(four that week), but only two for Jollywood, earliest being the date I have planned.
