Just saw the pricing and dates for this years MVMCP. Tiered pricing 91 dollars per adult 81 per child for the time we want more expensive for other dates. I'm told that is a 20 dollar increase from last year which if true is crazy. Never been to the event just wondering if it's worth it. Went to the Halloween party before it was okay. Did it once won't need to do it again. Looking for opinions.

I would say I'm glad I did it once 2 years ago, but that was enough. If taking pictures with the rare characters is something you enjoy, that would help too.

We love Christmas at Disney (going back this year), but felt it was a bit pricey when it was $20 less. The decorations are great, and hot chocolate is nice, but the parades were still very crowded on our night and the cookies were not that good. For us, we can get more value elsewhere in Disney for $200.

Don't

Don't care about the cookies and too old for characters. As far as decorations go I can see them on the nights they're is no party. I've got 5 people to pay for that's 455 dollars. Is it just me or is WDW getting crazy with the price increases. I know WDW isn't cheap but is it getting out of hand for the average family

We haven't gone to MVMCP for several years - for me, the price has not reflected the value for quite a while. That said, the parade, characters and fireworks are amazing. IMO, everyone who can should do it at least once.

When we're there during party time, we just watch the party fireworks from outside the park - there are several places that have a pretty good view. :)

All that said, I would like to do MNSSHP one more time, but the prices for that in October are also coming in very high. We'll see. I'm leaning no for right now. Thinking I'd rather do the new Sunday brunch at CG instead.

Our Halloween party is $95 for an adult :crazy2: The Christmas party we are going to is a "steal" at $84 with the DVC (or AP) discount.

We definitely won't be doing 2 parties again after this year (first year doing it). We still have 1 kid under 3 so I might as well take advantage of it this last time.
