MVMCP - Premium pricing?

I never saw this before, or I never noticed. Is this new? Why would these dated be considered premium over the other dates?
 
I'm assuming Disney anticipates those will be the most popular nights--probably based on historical attendance. I assume they are discounting "non-premium" nights to boost those sales.
 
Premium I believe are weekends and fridays. Typically the busier days. I guess they figure we're gonna buy the tix anyway they might as well charge more.

Yeah - I just saw the "sticky" on this and read it. It appears you are right. Thank you.
 

My take is that they expect more tickets to be sold on the Premium nights, and they can raise the price and still sell them, so they do.
 
Tues and Thurs will seem the best nights to go now, cheaper too!
