We are attending the Xmas party on Wen, Nov 9th. Planning on hanging out in the morning and early afternoon at AKL or DTD and then heading over to MK at 4pm. Thinking about staying there for a couple of hours and then heading over to Kona Cafe for dinner. We would then return back and enjoy the rest of the evening and festivities at MK. Should I just eat at the park? Any other dining suggestions? My kids are 8 and 6 if that factors in? Thanks!

You could do the character dinner with Pooh and friends at The Crystal Palace in MK.

I second crystal palace. We are going Dec. 4 and will have dinner at Crystal Palace first. It's a great character buffet and you don't have to worry about leaving and coming back:)

The time before the party officially starts is some of the best time to do the rides. Little or no wait. Your MVMCP ticket will get you in as early as 4 pm.

I'd eat in the park - at a CS If you want a sit down meal, make it for lunch. Save Kona for a time when you can really enjoy it vs eating quickly so you can get to the Party. :)

I agree with Carol -- the special events make a TS take too much time away from the party. Do Kona for lunch.

With a group of DGFs we're eating at the Crystal Palace on MNSSHP night. I think that meal is delicious and a great way to get ready for the party. I definitely would stay in the park!

We did liberty Tree @ 2 hours before the first Christmas parade. We think the food is really good; home style. Then after dinner, right there for the parade!:thumbsup2

During the first parade is also a good time to hit the rides and attractions.

Thanks for all the responses. I think we're going to stay at the park and have dinner at Liberty Tree. My kids are big fans of home style cooking (turkey, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, etc..) We eat Boston Market at least once a week. Thanks again!
