Mvmcp---help!!!

We can't decide if we should do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The only date available is the day we get there (11/17) and our plane lands at 6:37. We do have magical express and we are staying at Fort wilderness. There are 6 in our family (4 adults and 2 kids). HELP!!!

I say go for it. When are you going to get back to Disney for the MVMCP? You may not have hours upon hours of entertainment at the party, but it will still be fun.

I love MVMCP, but if your plane doesn't arrive til 6:37 p.m. even with Magical Express I don't see your making it to the party until at least 8:00, probably closer to 9:00. Sure, that would give you 3 to 4 hours. But the price of the tickets for just 3 to 4 hours, don't think I would do it. To me it's like going to a movie. If the movie started at 4, I wouldn't go in at 8.

What ever you do, hope you have a magical time.

I agree with babar41 - not worth it, especially since if everything goes exactly right (plane gets to gate on time, you get off plane right away because you were sitting in front, no lines at ME check in, ME bus leaves right away, no lines to check in at FtW, you board boat to MK without a wait and it leaves right away and doesn't stop at WL first, no lines left at securtiy check or entrance turnstiles,), I think the absolute earliest you could get there would be about 8:30 pm.

For me, it would be way too much money to spend for 3 hours or so.

Besides, it is likely you wouldn't be able to get there even that quickly - what if you can't get there until 9 or 9:30 or even later? Would you be OK with spending over $200 just to see the fireworks and late parade? Will you be too tired after traveling?
