MVMCP? entering park early?

We arrive on Dec. 14th and I bought our 5 tickets to MVMCP. We arrive around noon and check in around 1pm on the 14th. I figure by the time we get in room, shower, change, etc... If we head over to MK alittle earlier than MVMCP time, will they go ahead and allow us in the park? Do cast members make you stay outside gate , then let u in for those times. Do we need to purchase seperate park tickets for that day? Im hoping they would let you in since we paid $300 for it. I would hate to buy extra park tickets for 3 hrs...just wondering. In the past you have been allowed to enter the park at 4pm with a party ticket.

Disney will always tell you that the party starts at 7. In practice, people have been allowed in at 4 and given wristbands. But there's always no guarantee. They can always change their minds.
