MVMCP Dec 19 Worth it for Rides??

We ( 2 adults 4 kids) arrive at WDW on Dec 19th. Since the parks close pretty early that night, I am considering MVMCP so that we'll have something fun to do. My kids would mostly be interested in riding rides, not the shows. Since this is Friday and the last day for MVMCP, I'm assuming it will be quite crowded. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether it would be worth it to go??

My sis and I will be going to MVMCP on Dec 19th. We don't plan on riding any rides though as the wait will probably be very long. If your kids are not interested in seeing the shows, then you may want to go the next day.

With so many Christmas things going on during the party, I personally can not see going and NOT enjoying all the special things!!

I would say go! The parties are an excellent time to ride the rides. Many of them you can walk right on and sometimes you can even stay on for a second time through without getting off (although for sanity purposes I wouldn't recommend this for It's a Small World!).

It's also a really fun holiday atmosphere just to be in the park.

Thank being said - although I've gone to either MVMCP or MNSSHP for the last 4 years - I've never been on a Friday which I know is a bit more crowded. From my recollection from these boards, even on a more crowded party night, the ride lines are still not too bad.

I think we will go for it. The trip will be a surprise from Santa early that morning, and tickets to MVMCP would be really special. It will be a long, fun day!

We went last year and all my kids wanted to do was ride the rides. They didn't watch any shows. The lines weren't bad at all but we went on a Tues or Thurs. We were let in with just our MVMCP ticket around 4:00 I think, so they did the rides that would be closed during the Christmas party first. Have fun. Debby
