MVMCP Crowds

How crowded is MVMCP in early December? Friday night - 12/9. I don't mean getting there, I mean while it's going on. How do they clear out the people who don't have tickets?

Friday's are the busiest nights . That night will be sold out. Now don't get me wrong its not like during normal hours , but it will be full with lines for all rides. You are better off going on a sunday or tuesday. we went on a tuesday last year and the lady said about 2/3rds of attnedence compared to a friday.

We've heard the same thing about Fridays. We have gone on a Tuesday twice and it was great! At the end of the evening we were the only family on Splash Mountain. We went around three times without getting off.

We went last December 7th, a Tuesday. It seemed quite busy along the main thoroughfares, packed to the gills even, but we practically walked on all the rides except early on in Fantasyland, where we waited a whopping 15 minutes to get on Dumbo. The first parade was very crowded along Main Street so we watched it from Frontierland, in front of the Shooting Gallery and were right up against the rope with a great view. Oddly, when we came back and checked the boards, several people were complaining about how crowded the night was and how they waited an hour to get on all the rides so I don't know, it's all about perception I guess...

I have also heard that Fridays are more crowded than the earlier days of the week but I wouldn't expect it to be quite as crowded as later in the month.

We always go on Sundays and Tuesdays. Typically we haven't found it crowded either night but Friday nights looked terribly packed and we often heard people comment about them back at the hotel. Keep in mind that Friday nights bring out many of the local people who want to see the Christmas festivities.

It is always more crowded at the beginning but really clears out around 10pm. Last year my DH and DS rode space mountain five times in a row before my DH said no more.... much to my Ds's disappointment. Of course after four times on Goofy's brainstormer, in a row, and four times on Thunder Mountain without getting off, I was done.

Although we typically go the week after Thanksgiving. And the last couple years since it has been later it has gotten more crowded. We are looking forward to having more November days this year and less December days. It seems to make a difference. I think the closer to Christmas that you go the more crowded it gets.
