we are going to go to the last MVMCP in december:santa: (i know they took the dates off the website.. dbf was smart enough to take a screen shot :thumbsup2), which happens to also be my dbf's birthday. i want us to have a nice dinner but also not miss out on getting into the park at 4 pm and we want to maximize our time. my thinking was that it was either get to the park at 4 and eat at around 5 after doing one or 2 things, or just make a reservation for 5 or 5:30 on the monorail line and arrive as the daytime crowd is leaving for the beginning of the party, though that is not really what i want.

where should we go? he loves chefs de france but i'm not sure if we are doing a park day that day yet. if we are, then we will do chefs de france. what's good for a birthday dinner on the monorail line or in MK? we don't really like MK restaurants except for LTT, but we will be having lunch there another day so i doubt we want to go there for his special dinner. the other alternative is to do a nice lunch, but i would think the same rules apply (monorail line), because we would probably eat around 2 and then just hang out until it was time to go in.

thanks!!!

Honestly I never do TS dining on the day of a party , and if I do it is early( like 330p).If you are set on doing a TS meal I would do The Wave at the Contemporary, Ohana at the Poly or Narcoossees at Grand Floridian.I would not do a meal at Epcot and then have to hoof it over to MK.For one Les Chefs often starts dinner service at 5pm,and at that time of year the Candlelight processional dinner pkgs are going on and it leads to a back up in seatings and service, and they move to accomodate the CP dining pkg people first. So you may be seated late, slow service etc.You are looking at 90 mins for dining approximately. That will make it 630pm when you exit it the place.Add to it hoofing it to the front of Epcot to get the monorail and add travel time and you would get to MK after 7pm.You could also go out the IG in World Showcase, go to the BC resort and catch a cab- This would be the fastest option.

i agree about les chefs. i think we will just do that on our epcot day. thank you for the suggestions. i will run them by dbf :)
