We are attending MVMCP our first full day. Will the castle projection show and fireworks be so similar to the regular ones that we should skip MSEP/Wishes a few nights later? First trip so we've seen none of it. Kids will be 7 and 1/2 and 4 and 1/2.

If I told you that we'd be leaving EPCOT to hop to MK for MSEP/Wishes for 1 of the only 2 nights it's offered at 8 p.m. make a difference? Meaning, if we get our ADRs when we want them, we have no other reason to buy hoppers ahead of time.

Thanks.

No, do not skip if it is your first visit.

Maybe change the viewing location and get FP+ for MSEP or something, but I wouldn't skip it.

I agree with the PP that for a first trip I would not skip MSEP and Wishes. MSEP and the Christmas parade (at MVMCP) are two very different parades. The only thing they really have in common are that they both have floats and characters that go down a parade route. The fireworks shows are also different in music and style.

I think "hopping" is generally fairly easy and my family has done just that. We've spent the day at Epcot and then hopped over to MK to see the parade and fireworks. I would not have any hesitations to do it again.

Thanks all. Any suggestions as to what time to get to viewing spot, assuming have a FP+ for MSEP? Need to make an ADR on Monday for dinner that night, although may also do Via Napoli for big lunch and just grab QS for dinner because I assume we can buy snacks/beverages before watching the parade.
