MVMCP and FP+

Sorry if this has been answered numerous times (I searched and couldn't fine my exact answer).....We are going next week and decided today to do MVMCP on our one off day. I was able to book FP's today (in addition to the ones I had already for our other days) for our MVMCP day. I just am surprised they give me times in the morning? I obviously am booking ones closest to the 4:00 anticipated time to get into the park, but was only able to get 2 in that time frame. The 3rd one is for 2:40-3:40. Does that one just expire and we just use the other ones? Why do they give you an option of early morning FP's when we don't have actual park tickets that day?

Because the system doesn't know what time the party is...make your selections between 4-7. Simple.

I am doing that on Sunday with MVMCP. My 3 fast passes are between 3:30 and 6:30. It took a little bit of work but I was able to fit 3 in before 6:30. Good luck!

Not so much, OP it's an idiotic system that you have to keep playing with, you would think it knows when a party is. The only ticket I have linked is one for the party no other ticket and if misery loves company well I send you love.

Does anyone have experience with this? I printed my tickets at home for MVMCP. Will I need to stop at Guest Services to exchange it for an RFID ticket, to use the Fastpass system? (I don't think the MVMCP ticket is "on" the Magic Band, right?)

If you bought your regular tickets or package from WDW which appear on your MDE account and thus will have magic bands provided you should be able to add your party tickets to MDE and access via magic bands (in fact my party tickets appeared on my MDE account automatically).
