So, we've decided to take a day off from the parks and "rest up" for our night at the party. I'm trying to figure out our best dinner strategy. We cannot eat early in MK since we won't be using our hoppers that day. If we decide to eat at a Downtown Disney restaurant, say House of Blues, what time should we eat in order to be finished, catch a bus to TTC, ride the monorail to MK, and then wait to be let in at 7? Should we just scrap these plans and eat at our hotel food court?

Also, where do we get our wristbands? Or do we get wristbands for this event?

Thanks,
Kerri

You should get to the gate earlier than 7:00p and it will be crowded.

They usually only give wristbands to those who enter MK before 7:00p to separate them from those they kick out.

If you do get a wristband, they give them upon entering the park after 4:00p and while eating in MK restaurants too.

I'd say you'd have to leave DTD by 5:00 or 5:15 at the latest.

If I were you, I'd either eat at my resort or at a monorail resort or at MK.

Have fun!

We ate at 1900 Park Fare (GF) the night that we did MVMCP. You're just a monorail ride away from the MK. And since it is a buffet, you can move at your own pace. Chef Mickey's (CR) and 'Ohana (Poly) would also be good choices since they are on the monorail as well. From Chef Mickey's you could even walk to the MK.

We only have tickets for MVMCP and were told that we could enter the park early to eat. We have a PS at the CP for 5:30 on Sun, Dec 7. I asked the CM twice when I was making my PS just to be sure.

We only have MVMCP tickets also and we're eating at LTT and the CM said we can get in for our 5:40 dinner with our MVMCP tickets and our PS#.

Thanks for the quick responses. I like the idea about eating at a monorail restaurant. Tay and Evie's Mom: I hope the CM gave you good info. They'll really let us in early to MK (without using a day on our hoppers) if we have a PS? Maybe I'll call them about this also. I would love to already be in the park when the party started without having to use a day from our hoppers. Hmm... I'll try to research this tomorrow.

Thanks!

Kerri

As said above, the MK resort restaurants, 1900, Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana all are great. As for the entry to the park before for CP or other, make sure you verify with several CM's at CRO. Enjoy.
