Hi There :thumbsup2

Were hoping to grab a last minute vaction, and although we have visit numerous times, we have never taken an interest in the Disney Resaurants, mainly because we had no idea about them.

Anywho, I'm hoping you could give me your "Must See's". Although if possible, we would like to try to avoid the following;

100% or nearly all Sea Food Restaurants.
Mainly for kids (Lots of characters etc), we have done these many of times

Other than that, we are not fussy eaters, and will eat almost anything. We are a fan of "Hard Rock Cafe" styled food though :thumbsup2

Many Thanks,

Shane :)

Kona (dinner & breakfast), LeCellier, California Grill, HDDR and Rose & Crown.

:thumbsup2 These are all of our favorites!

Good luck choosing, just remember to use this board for direction. You are going to find DISers who love and hate everywhere. I suggest reviewing menus on www.Allears.net and see what appeals to your family.

These are our must dos...at least when we have time;)
Ohana for dinner...we start every 1st night with this one.
50s PTC...its a hoot and the food is good too
WCC...sorta like 50s, but with a western theme. Skillet is what we always get
Biergarten, Le Cellier and Nine Dragons at Epcot. DW likes San Angel but it has been hit or miss on quality for me lately
Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner
Boma at AKL

Great thing is you will have fun discovering your own favorites. Have a great trip!

Le Cellier, Ohana's, Whispering Canyon & Prime Time Cafe!

OP, I think you will get about every restaurant mentioned here when this thread starts getting longer, because everyone's taste is different.

A Must Visit again Restaurant for me was Coral Reef.
I have also liked 50PTC.

Must eat There Again CS are Earl of Sandwich and Columbia Harbour House, and I will really miss Tusker House.

HRC have a variety of menus based upon the location, but here are a few that are a step-up in food quality and offerings:
Artist Point (WL)
California Grill (CR)
Jiko's (AKL)

Hi.

Thank you for you already :) I've just been browsing the Disney website and noted that some restaurants require more formal wear, is this a strict rule, specially for the "In Park" restaurants, otherwise we would have to go change.

I can't recall any "in park" restaurants that have dress codes... I am only aware of resort restaurants that would require that.

As for my favorites: Le Cellier, Biergarten, Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch).

For me, I have to do Boma and San Angel Inn. Also, I love 'ohana, Chefs de France, and the Flame Tree BBQ

Very few restaurants require more formal attire. Victoria and Alberts is the only one where I think you might feel out of place in a t-shirt and shorts. The rest are resort casual.

As for my favorites, I would say...

'Ohana for dinner
Boma for breakfast or dinner
Sci-Fi Dine In (my kids love this one)
Crystal Palace for breakfast
Kona for breakfast

Here's our must eats:

California Grill
Kona - usually 2 dinners and a breakfast
Boma
Le Cellier

These would be my picks for non-seafood non-character meals; Boma, Le Cellier, Brown Derby, and Wolfgang Puck Cafe.
