Hi all...we leave for the world in 8 days. I have mostly everything planned out as far as what parks we are hitting which days, breaks, EMH's, but i need your help on deciding where to use our quick service credits. we are going to be on the quick service plan, so 2 meals a day. We'll be there for 9 days, so we need lots of suggestions at all the parks. so hit me with anything. cant wait to hear all your favs! thanks :cool2:

I really enjoyed El Pirate in MK last may I got the nachos and was abel to put TONS of fresh toppings on and I shared it with my son.

For the parks we like:

MK - Columbia Harbor House (Tuna sandwich is real good)

AK - Flametree BBQ (I think I've had just about everything they offer and liked it all)

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons (good variety of non-traditional counter service food and a GREAT bakery)

DHS - We usually end up at Backlot Express, but it's not a don't miss...:rolleyes1

For DTD the VERY best CS anywhere at Disney World (IMO) is Wolfgang Puck Express (Marketplace and Westside) We usually eat here at least twice. It's so good, hot, fresh and out of the ordinary!!! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

We LOVE that place but out of the 30-40 times we've been over the years-it's been open twice. I hate that it's just a "seasonal restaurant" :(

AK
Flame tree BBQ is definitely a MUST, also Pizzafari just for the theming alone.

DHS
well, there really are no MUSTS, but the Southwest salad at Backlot Express is good

Epcot
Sunshine Seasons -SO much variety,
Tangierine Cafe, Cantina San Angel both have really tasty selections

MK
I LOVE El Pirata (as previous poster said, when its open) their Taco Salad is really good. Columbia Harbor House is great too, but you get the most variety and some fun entertainment at Cosmic Ray's.

Have a great trip and enjoy!!!:hippie:

Cosmic Rays and Columbia Harbor House at the MK

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot

NOTHING at the Studios (we go to another resort)

Flame Tree Barbecue at AK

MK: Cosmic Ray's and Pinnochio's
AK: Pizzafari
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
DHS: Backlot Express

We love Peco's Bill in Fontierland. I think it is the PB mousse that keeps us coming back! :thumbsup2

On our trip we tried
Pecos Bills, Tangerine Cafe, Food Court at POR, Flame Tree, and Wolfgang Puck express.
Our favorites by a landslide were Tangerine (better than some of the table service) and Wolfgang Puck express!
We ended up with extra counter service and used them to buy stuff at the bakery in France, and even though I guess it's not technically a quick service (or maybe it is?) It was also one of our favorites!!
Great! Now I'm hungry!!!

We really like the food at Cosmic Ray's in MK. We always end up there! DD LOVES the cheese sauce at the fixins bar on her fries.

MK: Definately Pecos Bills, oh the chili cheese fries; how I love thee...

Ep: I really enjoy the Cantina outside the Mexican Pyramid

HS: Nothing really outstanding for CS here

AK: I like the Yak & Yeti CS place though some don't.

As said before, you can't miss Columbia Harbour House at MK!! I am craving the anchors aweigh sandwich something fierce right now!! LOL!

We will never again do quick service at HS and usually will pay for an out of pocket lunch at Sci Fi for a nice, dark, quiet lunch at fairly reasonable prices.

At AK we have always eaten at FlameTree since they changed Tusker House to table service. I am thinking of trying Yak and Yeti CS this trip though, just depends where we are that time of day :))

In Epcot we just "snack around the world" and have a nice dinner.

Pecos Bill and Pinocchio's in MK; nothin in HS; Tamu Tamu was ok in AK; Liberty Tree Inn in Epcot was pretty good. I can't wait to try Cosmic Rays in MK this year.

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue & Pizzafari.

Downtown Disney Marketplace: Earl of Sandwich.

Contemporary: Contempo Cafe.

Grand Floridian: Gasparilla's Grill & Games.

Thank you everyone for these great suggestions! I will share them all with my wife! This will definitely help us plan out the rest of the trip. thanks again!!!:thumbsup2

At MK Columbia Harbour House and Cosmic Ray's are family favorites. Both are great values and offer good varieties on food.

There are two places that you have to eat for CS.. and they both are at DTD.. they are:

1. Wolfgang Puck Express
2. Earl of Sandwich

Trust me, you wont' regret these places!!!! We can't wait to hit them again in a few weeks!!!

Earl of Sandwich is our favorite. My husband would eat there every meal.

We also liked Cosmic Ray's because of the variety but it can be hard if everyone wants something different because of the different stations.
