We actually had a "must NOT take" list of shots that we felt were cliched, like smooching under the veil, peering over the bouquet, etc. Our photographers thought this was hilarious and loved that we were comfortable to rely on their natural talent for capturing great images.
The first was my Scarlett O'Hara moment. I had waited decades to descend a staircase in a big poofy dress and I wanted photographic documentation of my moment! This was serious little girl dream coming true stuff!![]()
I did mention that I wanted "the" kiss shot..good heavens, I didn't know it lasted so long..we needed to get a room!!
I had to go to the bathroom and DH held my bouquet..the photographer got the BEST shot of him peering over it with his lip pooched out.
Dh didn't want to buy it because he thought it was silly..I am SOOO regretting it now..he was hysterical!!
