Must see robot at Epcot

ASIMO the robot created by Honda is at Epcot until July 11th. I just got back from seeing the performance.

It is at the World Showcase Village(Millenium Village in the World)

It was neat seeing the future of robots. They sure have come a long way.

July 1 -- 2:30, 4, 5 and 7 p.m.
-- July 3-5 -- 2:30, 4, 5 and 7 p.m.
-- July 4 -- 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 p.m.
-- July 5-8 -- 2:30 p.m., 4, 5 and 7 p.m.
-- July 10-11 -- 2:30, 4, 5 and 7 p.m.

I saw ASIMO 'in action' in Canada in 2003. Great show for the kids. Alas I've seen the newer generation of ASIMO which easily makes ASIMO so very unimpressive.

Then again, as previously mentioned, the show is being packaged in such a way you'll go "wow" although at the back of your mind you know that lots of the "wow"-ness are really cheezy and dated.

I didn't find the demo dated at all. In 5 years I may think that ASIMO is outdated.

As a grownup I found it educational. I also wish I could afford one for the house.
