Must Have eats? Rice Dream, Cream?

There was a thread I saw once.... A lot of folks talked about some rice dessert... anyone know what it was, and where I can try it? Is it like rice pudding?

I think you are talking about rice cream and you can get it at the counter service in Norway. It's a thick rice pudding with strawberry sauce and I love it. I found the recipe and make it at home but it isn't as good as at WDW.

I've made it at home many times and it is always better than at Norway. The next time you make it at home use more strawberries and when it is finished put it in the refrigerator for one hour. It will be excellent.

I found the rice in the Norwegian dessert to be much crunchier than regular rice pudding. I like the strawberry topping, but the crunchy rice was quite unexpected. I love the Kringla Bakerie's "Veiled Maiden" dessert. That is delicious!

OK, now you'll have to describe what the "veiled maiden" is?

A Veiled Maiden is layers of chunky cinnamon apple sauce and whipped cream. Delicious! It is served in a parfait type cup.

Your all making me want to go to the Norway bakery right now, but the problem is I'm in Michigan. I guess I will just have to wait till December.
