On our next trip to Disney, it will be the 6 of us: me, DH, DS age 9, DD age 6, DD age 3 and DS 14 mos. We have a pretty good system of what we bring to the park and what works for us. It is usually a larger bag with diapers, etc. for the littlest, change of clothes and/or socks, snacks, cameras. We rent a locker, and take only the essentials with us, leaving the big bag behind. We just hit the locker if we need anything. I'm now in search of a good diaper bag for this purpose, and to use as my carry-on on the plane. Anyone love their diaper bag? Thanks.

I just used a nice daypack and then I put the essentials for a diaper change in a ziplock bag which I'd leave in the stroller but was easy to grab for a quick change.

I don't have one, but I've heard really nice things about Land's End diaper bags. They have shoulder bags (big and smaller) and a backpack style:

I'm not sure what type of bag you're looking for, but we use the "Baby Sherpa" diaper bag backpack whenever we go to Disneyland. It's very comfy to wear all day and organized:

The original Baby Sherpa:

Their smaller version, called the "Shorthaul":

To carry essentials, which includes a diaper for my toddler, wipes, my DD's epipens, and my own personal stuff, I use Overland Equipment's "Donner" Bag. It's not a diaper bag, but I love that it holds a lot of things and the water bottle holder feature holds Playtex sippy cups very nicely:

HTH!

When we go anywhere we tend to bring two diaper bags, the big one that is used as a carry on on the plane as it holds a ton of bottles, clothes, snacks, etc. http://www.target.com/gp/detail.htm...6?_encoding=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B00064MJAO
and the smaller version that we take on excusrions such as to the parks/store/etc. This bag is very well built and in a pinch I have used it to carry my laptop and camera equipment. This bag has served as my carry on going to WDW and Hawaii numerous times over the last year. While it is a large bag it is small enough to still fit under the seat infront of you while on a plane.

After placing of DD things in it for the flight I can usually still fit my purse, book, and water. It has side pockets too on the ends. I can't say enough good things about this Ediie Bauer bag. I have the smaller version too which is our day to day bag. It can be found at Target. HTH.

My everyday diaper bag was the Lands End. It was the best diaper bag. We go to WDW every year, and now my kids a 4 and 6 (almost 7). I am off the diaper bag, but still carry wipes, since the little one is a slob.

When we go to WDW, I actaully carried the freebie bag I got at the hospital. I kept diapers, change of clothes, sippys, bibs, and wipes in there. It was just the right size. I had a small cooler type bag that I carried with baby food, milk/formula etc. in there.

The last few years I haven't had to carry as much, since the girls are older and there carry there own Minnie Mouse fanny packs. They keep hand sanitizer, tissues, lip balm, and wipes in there.

Thanks for your suggestions! Our trip isn't until July, but I'm mentally planning and packing now. Buying the new bag will be a start!

I love my diaper bag, and I bought it at Target! It is a nice Eddie Bauer diaper bag. Perfect size to fit snacks, cups, wipes, diapers, wipes, and an extra outfit! I bought it a few years ago and have used it on many trips to WDW as well as day to day errands! It was cheep too! :cool1:

Last year OLD Navy had these huge purses on sale for 9.00. I got a navy one and it has one pocket on the front (where i put the bibs and spoons) (and the inside has a pocket one the inside where I keep motrin, thermometer, bandaids, destin etc.) the rest of the space is big enough for diapers, wipes, juice cup, change of clothes, and snacks. We keep this in the car. I had planned to take this in WDW as the stroller is navy and I thought it would kinda blend in the bottom basket of the stroller and not be so noticable to people, but I had placed and order with JCPENNY and they sent me a free gift in which was a stroller bag it velcros on both sides and it opens up on 2 sides and I had all the above things in it but it only held about 5 diapers which was plenty for the day. But the cool thing was I could just yank it right off of the stroller and take it to the bathroom and unfold it and she could lay on it while I changed her diaper. Also when we went on rides we just threw it down in the basket and you couldn't even see it because it was so thin.

Now that I have typed a book I hope you find a bag that you love like I did ... :rotfl2:

I have a Vera Bradley quilted diaper bag in Bahama Blue and I love it! It is light weight with a wide zipper opening. It has long straps and exterior pockets and washes easily!

Has anyone tried to machine wash their Lands End diaper bag backpack? Our is absolutely trashed and spot cleaning it as recommend just isn't cutting it!

Other than that, I love this diaper bag for WDW. It is small enough so as to not be cumbersome, yet large enough for a few other essentials for yourself, e.g., wallet, keys, etc. Great pocket on the side for the water bottle too. Only drawback is that we have a black one, so it absorbs heat like crazy! Not the best for storing things that need to stay cool.

I was looking at the Vera Bradley bags. I like them a lot, but didn't know how dirty it would get (and was leaning towards a wipeable bag). Good to know they are easily washable! They don't loose their shape?

This was a suggestion I found on the Dis that worked well for us. We've got 3 children (4, 2 and 7 mos at the time) and we needed various items for all of them but didn't want to carry a bunch of bags. We just took our backpack and then got two large ziploc bags. Filled one with everything needed for a diaper change (diapers, wipes, disposable chaging pads) and the other filled with his food stuff (food; spoons, bibs, etc). When he needed a change we just took out that bag and headed off. PLus the ziploc bags came in handy a couple of time too. That way we only had one bag we had to keep up with.

I just bought a brand new diaper bag called the SKIP HOP. I got the Expo version. It is a PERFECT BAG to hang on the back of your stroller!!!

I asked this question in another thread and a bunch of people suggested it, so I went and bought it today. IT'S A GREAT BAG!!!!!!!!
