What are the must do restaraunts for me and my bf. We have meals included so we are not worried about price. The only ones not included are V&A....and swan and dolphin restaraunts. I would like to try some great restaraunts but don't want to make ps's for everything ahead of time....or at least until we get there and decide where we are going to be.

California Grill, Kona for breakfast, Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast or lunch on a MK day, Narcoosee's, Citrico's, Artist Point, Yachstman's Steakhouse, Jiko's, Portabello's, Wolfgang Puck's (on a package I'd do upstairs), Bistro de Paris, Chefs de France for lunch, Rose and Crown for lunch, San Angel Inn for lunch...oh I could go on...how many days do you have?:D Flying Fish sounds good too but we've yet to try it.

Our favorites that we do every trip are Le Cellier and Teppanyaki for lunch or dinner. Both are outstanding service and food. Artist Point is also outstanding, so is California Grill. Sci Fi has great atmosphere. So does Rose and Crown if you are on the patio. Coral Reef is also special for us, our reception was in their private dining area.

BCV23...we are going 7 days-6nights...we have 18 meals included

Just noticed that you'll be 120 days out tomorrow. I know you said you want to wait and see where you'll be but I think you'll get much better value out of your plan if you plan ahead.

I would plan your parks first. Do take a break and change parks for the evening. Much more relaxing and makes the vacation seem longer. Do golf, boats or all the other fun things included on your package in the afternoon.

Check out the menus on Deb's site and pick your dinners before deciding on lunches. I think I'd pick California Grill, Jiko's, Narcoosee's, Citrico's, Yachtsman and Flying Fish if it were me.

So many wonderful choices. Have fun deciding. But I really would plan ahead...you can always cancel if you change your mind.:D

We went to the 50s Prime Time Cafe for the first time this past trip and LOVED it!!! I can't believe we have never tried it before. It is definitely a MUST DO from now on. We also enjoy the Rainforest Cafe and Wolfgang Puck's Cafe (downstairs)

Crystal Palace is our absolute favorite for breakfast. Chef Mickey's is a close second for breakfast. Both are an excellent breakfast buffet. Stay away from Hollywood & Vine - yuck!!

It is just the 2 of us - but, we love going to the character meals! Crystal Palace is our favorite for breakfast - be sure to try the breakfast lasagna! Hollywood & Vine is our favorite for lunch - the desserts are great! Liberty Tree Tavern is the best character dinner IMHO.

We always eat at the Rainforest in DD - usually on our arrival day. Depending on what time of the year you will be there - you may not need to plan your PS's ahead of time. We have always gone in January, September & now December & don't plan very many ahead of time. We have never had any problems getting in anywhere we wanted. We do sometimes make the PS the morning of the afternoon we will need it. Hope this helps!

I don't have many must dos, but here are some favorites:

B'fast-- Cape May Buffet (character breakfast at Beach Club)

50's Prime Time Cafe (D/MGM) -- lunch or dinner

Restaurant Marrakesh -- Epcot (Morocco) -- lunch or dinner

Le Cellier (Canada) -- YUM!

Beachs & Cream -- snack or meal; very delightful

House of Blues (DD, West End) -- very good food, but no PS taken

Cosmic Ray's (MK) -- BEST burgers at WDW!

Our Favorites are:
'Ohanas (Polynesian) Dinner
LeCellier (Canada, EPCOT) Dinner
Kona Cafe (Polynesian) Dinner
Crystal Palace (MK) Breakfast
San Angel Inn (Mexico, EPCOT) Lunch or Dinner
Cape May Cafe (Beach Club) Dinner (all you can eat clam bake buffet)
Spoodles (Boardwalk) Dinner

just came back from WDW on a Discovery Magic Plan. here are where we went and love.

breakfast:
ohanas @ polynesian
hollywood & vine @ MGM (love the smoked salmon)

lunch:
wolfgang puck @ DD

dinner:
brown derby @ MGM ( a must go from us)
chef de france @ Epcot (love the tenderloin)
jiko @ AKL

We are goin March 5-11th. If we are flexible with our times, what restaraunts do you think we will need to start making ps's now for??

Jiko is a must, go late and you shouldn't need a PS. California Grill is fabulous, but make the PS. Do dinner in Cinderella's castle just for the experience.

Here is my list:
50's Primetime Cafe
Narcoosee's
Cape May Cafe--Clam Bake (actually, this is my husbands and daughters)
1900 Park Faire Breakfast
Tusker House

If your family likes sea life, Coral Reef at the Living Sea in Epcot is a must see. Eating while sharks and huge turtles swim by is just fun. They don't guarantee a by the tank seat but tell them you'll wait no matter how long and youl'll get one. If your ressie is early 5 p.m. or so, you probably won't wait long. The lobster bisque is so awesome. I get that and a salad, it's enough.

California Grill and Flying Fish are a must for us at dinner

Rainforest for lunch

Crystal Palace for breakfast

Thanks everyone for their suggestions. Keep them coming.
How does everyone feel about Boma? It looks interesting. Will I need a PS?
Also, should I consider making ps's now for Cinderellas for lunch or dinner. I would like to try to get breakfast but I know that is hard to get and I can't until 60 days out.

Please try to base your choices mostly on the descriptions, your own food preferences and where you'll be at any given time. EVERY restaurant has fans and critics so it's impossible to pick a consistently "good" restaurant IMO. And besides you're in WDW so how bad could any of it be? ;)

Our must do list includes:

Shula's for the best streak on property.

ESPN for wings.

O'hanas

Brown Derby

Do not miss the Yachtsman Steak House...get the Stag's Leap Merlot with Dinner.
We love Tempura Kiki which is a sushi bar at Epcot with great sushi and tempra.
Victoria and Albert's is a must do if your meals are included. Spend the extra $42/pp for the wine pairing. If you are staying onsite, WDW will provide the transportation (Town Car or Limo)
