We will be at DLR Nov. 30th-Dec. 4th. I have lots planned but I have one last decision to make. I need to choose between the Holiday Tour, Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour or Premium Viewing for Fantasmic  Please give me your opinions, ideas or thoughts. Thanks :goodvibes Oh, and if it helps, we are ages 63, 42 & 13. My DS has been to DL 5x and I have been approximatley 10x. Grandma hasn't been since before DCA. Thanks again:)

As far as I know, Fantasmic sells out quickly so you might not be able to get spots this late. I'm doing the Holiday tour because it sounds like a lot of fun.

I would do "F", I am mostly not a tour person unless it would be the new tour that takes you to the studios.

I did both F! and the Holiday Tour this past weekend, both were great.

The tour was a great value and the front row seats for the parade were awesome! It was also nice to have a few keepsakes that made it even more worth the money. F! was awesome as well, but I don't know that I would do it if you've seen the show before a few times. It was great for us because depsite going to DLR many times, we had never seen Fantasmic, so it was an amazing first time. Hard choice! But I don't think you could go wrong with either.

My wife and I had the same issue, then I snapped and just booked all 3.
I know it's expensive, but we only get to Disneyland every 5 years or so, so we try to make it special each time. Since it will be so crowded the week of Thanksgiving when we will be there it seemed like a good way to get the things we wanted to in, with out all the fighting and waiting for a good spot!

Good luck and have fun!!!!!

I will be interested in reading your comparisons of all three. I've done the F buffet a few times, the holiday tour back in 2000, and the Walt Tour a couple of years ago. I'd have to do the holiday tour again to do a fair comparison of the three myself. :)

Enjoy!

Thanks for all the responses. We tried to see F! last year. It didn't work out so well. Too many people and we didn't plan ahead. I think the premium viewing is the only way we would attempt it. The reason we aren't going to do all 3 is because we have reservations for the Chef's Counter at Napa Rose, Blue Bayou and Sunday Jazz Brunch at Brennan's. Too many things to choose from :)

Depending on your 13 year old, I would probably choose Fantasmic seating. My son would die if I took him on a tour. Of boredom, that is:)

I could only afford one, so I just booked the Holiday Tour for just the hubby and me. I figure I get great info about the holidays at DL, special entrance on two rides, keepsake mug with hot chocolate, and great reserved seats for the parade, oh and a pin :goodvibes

Just sounded like the best bang for the buck, and I am a Christmas fanatic.:santa: I hope to come back and do F! or WOC when it is less busy, or I may just try my luck to stake out a viewing spot on this trip.

At least they are FUN decisions, right???!!!
