I absolutely love musicals a few of my favorites are Rent, Jesus Christ Superstar, Wicked, Avenue Q, Fame, and The Wiz.

omg..i thought i was like the only young person who loved musicals...its so sad when ur teacher names one or starts singing the song and u know all the words...all my friends think i am such a loser...lol

i have actually never seen one on broadway though but i see them in my school and on videos

i must show you guys some pictures after we are doine with beauty and the beast, we are the first high school in america to do the broadway production... i must say that the set and costumes are the most amazing things i have ever seen! i am just a villager and a wolf. my friend is the beast. a lot of things were ccut though... INCLUDING HUMAN AGAIN and parts of be our guest... we don't even have the kick line anymore... ;___;

wow, that's so cool! i've never heard of a high school doing beauty and the beast, so i guess you would be the first. definitely post pics if you can!!!!!!

that's so cool, my high school was the first high school to do the musical smokey joe's cafe, we beat out a school from texas by a week. we cut out i think three songs. (there are no lines in that musical it's basically all songs that tell a story) I was a part of the female chorus.

i thought i was the only one that liked musicals, my fave is sucical the musical. i love being part of a musical. ive been in Anne of green gables and all i need to know i learned in kindergarten.

I have only recently become really interested in musicals (like the last 2 or 3 years), so I haven't seen too many movie musicals.

Fave movie musicals:
Beauty and the Beast
Grease
The Sound of Music
....and others

I'm hoping to be able to see many more of the older ones.

I have also seen 42nd Street and The Lion King on Broadway. TLK on Broadway is an AWESOME show, for those who haven't seen it. Speaking of plays, this will be my first year involved with a school play, or any play for that matter. We'll find out really soon what it will be, but it will most likely be a musical. I can't wait!

i love musicals.... my school is doing the music man this year and one of my best friends got the lead part. last year we did joseph and the technicolor dreamcoats.... i think we should do some plays without singing for those who can not sing (ME) lol
