I like rock. Emo wouldn't be half bad if it wasn't all whiney and stuff. Rap isn't half bad, but I can only listen to certain people. I love country because I grew up listining to it. I also like stuff like Elton John and stuff.

if i must catergorize.. i like hardcore, posthardcore, metal, and indie. i have a newfound appreciation for classic rock because of my friend.
most of my friends don't listen to my music though. i'm pretty much alone in it. i had only one other person go with me to the Thrice concert last night.
but i agree. music is incredible. i wish i could make a living off of it.

I gotta say I don't have a genre that I like. Some music hits me and some doesn't. My absolute favorite band, that by the way is never is given a chance, is Coheed and Cambria. If people would just listen to one song for more than 1 minute, they'd understand. But the singers voice is high pitched, but it works awesome with the guitar rifts. People need to give them a chance!!! THEY ROCK!!!
