I am planning on having the music I want played during our ceremony on a CD. Is there a way to hear what it will sound like during a site visit/planning session?

Also, is there an extra charge for having CDs played?

Thanks!

We has one song from a cd. They can play it for you at WP. We were told there was no opportunity to rehearse or hear tge music ahead of time if you will It all went just fine!:thumbsup2

We were there a month ago for our PS and they let us go inside the WP. I didn't ask to play our own music but they had the DFTW cd playing and it sounds great! They have a good sound system in there, like surround sound or something.

I was kind of worried about sound because all my music will be on CD. Thanks ladies!

Mine will too, so I know how you feel! :goodvibes But it did sound good, so I'm not worried. As for the charge, I'm not 100% sure but I don't think they charge you for using a cd. At least, I hope they don't!

I scoured Carrie's book and only found charges for places that don't have a sound system. I guess we'll find out!

that's good to hear. At the minute none of our choices are on CD, I have picked 'part of your world' for my entrance.... its nice on the violin and all but every time I watch the little mermaid and hear the opening credits I think it would be wonderful to have the actual film version on CD instead of the violin - but then all my other choices are violin so would it sound odd being the only CD song? I get a headache at this point during my train of thought.

We are also using a CD for 3 songs that DH has picked for our VR in 2 weeks. :woohoo: According to my BEO - there isn't a charge. And I checked it with a fine tooth comb! :rotfl:

On our CD the following songs will play:

1. A World of Our Own (by the Seekers) - DH will walk out to this song
2. Hawaiian Wedding Song (by Andy Williams) - played for the bridal party (although there won't be any bridal party)
and
3. There is Love/The Wedding Song (by Paul Stookey) - this will be played after Rev. Day does the 'welcome'. DH & I love this song and even though Disney would play it for us, I wanted the words sung - so we're going with the CD.

Just a quick question for those of you who used a CD; did you use edited shorter versions of the songs? For example, if I choose a song to be played when I walk down the aisle it won't take me to whole 2/3minutes (or however long it is) to get to DF (that would be one slow walk if it did! :rotfl:). Also, might be a silly question but is there someone at the WP who presses stop and play for each part of the ceremony!? Thanks! :thumbsup2
