Music during Sports food court rehab

I am 46 days out...and now I'm second guessing myself. We don't plan on eating at the Music food court more than a handful of times, but I'm scared it's going to be miserable with all the extra folks coming from Sports due to the rehab. I could change to Pop for about $80 more total. Thoughts/opinions?

ETA: Also concerned about it affecting bus service, though I know sometimes the All-Stars share buses anyway...

NO WORRIES! I an just back from there on Monday. Just back from 6 nights at AS Movies. While there, we ate at both Moves and Music (closer to our room) food courts. I did not notice ANY appreciable differences in food court crowds due to Sports being closed.

The mugs are another story....YES, RFID mug requirement/refills are in effect at BOTH resorts.As far as buses-great service. Only shared a bus ONE time and that was for TL.

Just back on Tuesday from ten days at Music. What a mess. Slightly more crowded than I was used to, but not unbearable. The darn ketchup machine was always slow. The food court eating area was a lot dirtier than expected too, and there were a lot of clueless people that couldn't figure out how to use the refillable mugs. I watched many people trying to use their own cups, or non-refillable ones, stand there and continuously press the buttons to no avail. Of course no one ever looks at the display where it tells you that your mug/cup isn't allowed. Those are the people that will be the biggest pain in the rump. They take up so much unnecessary time trying to get free drinks. Just casually tell them, if you're behind them, that their cups aren't allowed and they'll usually move out of the way.

My issue was that I could NEVER get my RFID mug to work on the first try. Each and every food court visit (Music or Movies) I had to get back in line to see a CM, sometimes they gave me a new mug, sometimes they sent an 'escort' to try to help me with it. After a while, it just stopped being worth the hassle so I drank water--which was fine.

I'm stuck staying at AS-sports. Anyone know if the refillable mug will work at AS-music, since the food court at sports is closed?

Yes, the new refillable ones can be used at any hotel drink station (or so Disney has said!)

Re: my initial post...I did end up switching to Pop in case anyone was wondering.
