Is there music at RR all day, or is it just a night thing. If a night thing, does anyone know what time it starts? Want to make sure we get to hear it! Thanks! So excited about this restaurant!

The live band, Creel, performs Mon-Thurs 7 pm - 12 am and on Fri-Sat 8 pm - 1 am. There is music all day but it is recorded music.

When making your reservations, ask for the Grand Room. Otherwise you might be in a side alcove or room and not be able to see the dancers.

Right. There are a LOT of tables where you can't really see anything.

They will honor a room request when I make the reservation? How likely is it that they will actually put us in the Grand room? Thanks!

I don't make reservations for Raglan Road through Disney. We use Open Table and they have a section for requests. Raglan has always honored that request. Might have to wait an extra 20 minutes but we wait because we go there to enjoy the music, not the food! :thumbsup2

Redzinner, awesome tip! Thanks! And we are totally doing this because of the music. DH and I went to Ireland last summer and loved the pub scene! Can't wait to re-live that a little!

Creel, the Traditional Irish Duo, does not play on Sunday evenings. There is music on Sunday, just not Creel. I hope you get to hear Creel. The fiddle player, Colin Farrell, is awesome. They do a 'Rocky Road to Dublin' that is one of the best renditions I have heard. The Pub itself is not quite like the small traditional Pubs in Ireland but it's a fun place with lots of hand clapping and foot stomping music in the evenings.

Creel's okay, but I do miss Johnny and Tuskar Rock, they had a real following and that place was always rockin' on the weekends.

The music is good and the dancing is fun :). We were just there 2 nights ago and had a blast. We sat at the bar without reservations and had a good view. I bet it fills up as the night goes on, though. We were there around 7:30 and stayed about an hour.

DH and I will be dining here for the first time in December....thanks for the tip on the Grand Room!
