Im suffering from post wedding planning blues at the moment!! So to cheer myself up i was wondering how all of your wedding plans are going :goodvibes

Oh yes!!! Come on guys, let us all know how the plans are going:thumbsup2

Yes Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

pretty please?! ;)

well let me go first lol

We booked our Disney Hotel rooms for the trip yesterday, Chris and I are staying at the Pop Century for the first six days then at the Grand Floridian for eight days. We can't wait. My mum and Dad are at the Grand Floridian for the night before and the night of the wedding.

I have the dress on order, but I cant find a picture anywhere to show you so unfortunatly you will have to make do with wedding pics lol.

The bridesmaids dresses are being made nearer the time, Erin has a lovely flower girl dress, it has an unsleaved bordeux top part, with an ivory puffy skirt with bordeux bows on it, its lovely I promise lol, the next two Joely and Sophie have puffy dresses lol (well not puffy as such but made out of the flowing material) in borduex and ivory, they have lovely button details, the two elder ones Jordan and Abi have tenn dresses, made from a silk effect with straps in bordeux and ivory.

I am quiet frustrated with my wedding planner, not very helpfull I dont think. But hey hopefully she will get better. We had a beo with no prices lol so still waiting to cost things up.

We get married at 2.30pm at the wp, from the Grand Floridian, then reception at the Living seas followed by a dessert party at the english pavillion.

Ordered flowers from Whimsical wey the lady there is fabulous, very helpfull and has great ideas my flowers are 4 ft long!!!

Flights are booked for everyone which is a relief. mostly Virgin and Travel City Direct.

I cant wait its still quiet strange getting married!!lol

Iam considering wearing mary jane ivory crocs lol, chris thinks I am mad.

I have also ruled out garters lol.

Thats about all I have right now, but hope its filled you in a bit

Anna, your plans sound wonderful and if you want Mary Janes go for it, it is your special day ..

Thanks for the update Anna:thumbsup2

I realise how buisy you must be :)

What? No Garters? What will you use for your something blue?;)

He he, happy planning!:grouphug:

lol very busy still sorting the house out and doing wedding things as well as getting ready for decembers trip.

I arnt having a garter as I will get really shy and nervous if I have to show it, I have a blue silk hanky my grandad gave me which I am having sown into my hem lol, its a sentimental thing for me as hes been dead 20 years.

I cant wait though

Its so exciting

Hi, our plans are pretty much sorted out now.

We leave on the 26th November and will stay at AKL for a week (unless we move due to the building work). This week will be really busy, we've got a meeting with the wedding co-ordinator, need to get the licence, David's brother's birthday is on the 29th and the big day is on the 30th. :goodvibes

We're planning an Epcot day for Noel's birthday, Segway tour in the morning and then we'll do the park. I'm looking at booking Biergarten for dinner.

There are 6 guests at our wedding so we're looking at having breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table in the morning. The wedding is booked for 2.30pm and then we'd like to do a Wishes cruise and then have dinner at one of the MK resorts.
We have ordered the french style flowers in light and medium pink. The cake will be chocolate with chocolate mousse (David's choice).
David is wearing a black suit with a pale pink cravat and waistcoat and my dress is ivory with pink in the lace. I think pink is becoming a theme :lmao: I'm still trying to decide whether to wear a veil at the moment, if it's windy they look terrible so I may not bother.
We'd like to have bubbles instead of confetti and will have the violinist for the music. I'm walking down the aisle to 'The Rose' and David is to 'You'll be in my heart'. Our first dance is 'Candle on the water' from Pete's Dragon, when I first heard this sone it gave me goose bumps.
Next on the agenda is wedding rings, we have seen some that we like so now have to go and order them.

The second week of the holiday we are hiring a car and going over to Sarasota, a family friend has a Villa there and we are renting it from her. It has a private pool so hopefully we'll just be able to relax on our honeymoon.

I'm looking forward to reading about other UK brides :bride:

Thank you - you have made me giggle! Sounds like a fine plan though ;). Have you worn the Mary Jane ones yet - what are they like?

The dresses sound lovely as do your plans

The wedding plans all seem to be coming along nicely. I am so jealous, I want a Disney wedding! I hope all your planning goes smoothly. :wizard:

Anna - your plans sound great :thumbsup2 LOL at the croc's

SNAP we did that ;) Be sure to tell them it's your wedding day!

I'm still trying to decide whether to wear a veil at the moment, if it's windy they look terrible so I may not bother.

I wore my veil at Sunset Point and to be honest it was a pain, although it was a gorgeous November day, the wind did catch my veil.

thanks for keeping us updated :) can't wait to see the pictures, your ideas sound lovely

All your ideas sound lovely!!

Emma - your dress is gorgeous!! I had the same dilema about a vail as i was an outdoor location! I went with a short fingertip one in the end without a blusher! I even got it off ebay LOL!! it was a fraction of the price that the shop wanted to charge me!

Anna - The living seas is soooo amazing! and very disney!! Sam (penlanspice) had her reception there in Sept and her photos were STUNNING!!

all your plans sound great

enjoy the rest of the planning

Thanks for sharing
