Hello
In staterooms that have the murphy beds?

1. Is the bed more comfortable than a "bunk berth" bed?
2. Does this make there seem to be more room?

3. Anyone have a pic?

I think our room has a murphy bed - not sure if this is plus or not?

Do you have a verandah room? The murphy bed, when open, does block the door to the verandah. All the single beds in the room (sofa, bunk, murphy) are the same size, with the same type mattress on them. I'd think they are all pretty much the same for sleeping in.

Is there more room in the family oceanview rooms because they don't have the verandah or is the murphy bed right up against the wall with the porthole where the slider is in the picture above?

As far as I know the actual room size (oceanview or verandah) is the same. The verandah adds more space on the footprint. So, in an oceanview, the bed would be against the outside wall (where the porthole is).

I can confirm that in the family oceanviews the bed is right up against the wall with the large porthole. You do have more floor space than some of the "non-family" ones, about 3-4 feet on the other side of the couch between the couch and the wall than you do in the rooms that are not "family".
