It looks as if the 1BR units at Aulani are set to have the pull down bed similar to GCV while the 2BR units get the sleeper chair http://dvcnews.com/index.php/hawaii--ko-olina-resorts-175/1288-early-aulani-facts-and-figures

One Bedroom
756 sq ft
Master bedroom with king size bed and bathroom
Queen size sofabed in living room plus pull-down bed
Full kitchen
Laundry area with stacked washer and dryer

Two Bedroom
1125 sq ft
Master bedroom with king size bed and bathroom
Two queen size beds and bathroom in second bedroom
Queen size sofabed in living room plus sleeper chair
Full kitchen
Laundry area with stacked washer and dryer

Just curious as to how the pull down compares to the chair. Are they the same size? If DS fits on the sleeper chair is it same to assume he'll fit on the pull down? :confused3

We have stayed at VGC and at AKV - Kidani, and have seen both beds. The pull down bed under the tv at VGC was wider than the single sleeper chair at Kidani and both were about the same length. Only disadvantage to the pull down was that the kid who is sleeping there can't watch tv while in bed. Not a big deal, but my kids like to watch their Disney DVD's at night while on vacation and this meant they all had to pile onto the larger bed/couch until one fell asleep and I relocated them...

I am mostly concerned about length so I'm glad to hear you think they are at least close. I thought about the tv issue when i saw the photos. For us it probably wouldn't be such a problem since DS16 usually spends time at night on his laptop.

Thanks!
