Was looking around YouTube today and saw an old clip from the Murder She Wrote show at Universal and I remember going to see that back when we went in 1996 and I remember my Dad being selected to participate in it, for some reason I seem to recall him being the murder or he poisoned someone for some. LOL, but does anyone else remember this attraction or got to participate?

We went in 12/96. As I recall, you saw how they built a story or something. I'd been looking forward to it, but was not impressed (however-keep in mind I was 12 ;) )

"Oooh the black pearl....oohh"

(The original Black Pearl attraction) yes, I remember it, it had Tom Selleck, some foley artists, and a few people from the audience to do voice overs, etc...I thought it was fun

Never got to see it, although I did have a trauma as a volunteer in the Xena show that replaced it. I really like the interactive shows...wish they had more than just Disaster now (although that one is very cool...DH was one of the evil trio last time we were there).

I did one of the voiceovers - the 'black pearl' line ..... that was a looong time ago on my first visit :thumbsup2

Oh, that attraction was so much fun. I was a teenager, and my pre-teen cousin and I used to spend the whole day thinking up crazy suggestions for the guest star - for those who never saw it, the guest star was Tom Selleck, but they made it out to be based on audience suggestion. We were the ones sitting in the back yelling out Freddy Kreuger and Mickey Mouse :duck: Fun times, fun times.

Anyone remember the whole audience being asked to do the background sound for the restaurant scene? Peas and carrots peas and carrots peas and carrots!

i loved that show!!

darkie, i remember the walla walla so well.........

you moved from 1 to 3 sections inside the building for different segments of the murder she wrote show.

i was so sorry to see it close up for Xena.

i don't care how old some of the oldies were.....
i loved alfred hitchcock show, murder she wrote and the ghostbusters show...

I miss both of the shows from that building. Unfortunately I was picked a few times for both shows, never had the chance to do the sound booth part though.

Oh yes the black pearl!!! That was it! I think thats the line my dad had. Poor guy, was picked for that AND to be the main parent they picked on during the Nick tour, must have been because at the time we were really from "Walla Walla" lol :rotfl2:
