and hopefully some exciting new things may be coming ,though nothing has been reported yet other than a name change . I hope that the Imagineers are allowed and given the opportunity to create some really fun new Muppets experiences to this area , though I know space is an issue .

Word is at least the restaurants are being rethemed as Muppets eateries. I think MuppetVision could use an update as well. I don't know that they could fit anything else there.

Kermit and Miss Piggy used to meet.

That restaurant really needs a Muppet theme.

I said on another thread that back when I did the college program there (Spring 2005), that was already called Muppets Courtyard. Didn't know it was called anything else or that it wasn't the official name. Anyway, back when the park first opened, there were plans to have a pizza restaurant that was run by Gonzo and Rizzo. I wouldn't mind seeing them turn Pizza Planet into that. That would leave Mama's to become Swedish Chef's restaurant and I really don't think they'd have to do a ton of redecorating inside. It already matches a lot of Muppets decor. Another idea is that they can just turn Mama's into the restaurant that Rizzo's family owns. Then, they could keep the menu pretty much the same, as well as the decor and just change the name. I do want to know what is going to happen with the Christmas store.

Rizzo and Pepe the Prawn's restaurant would be awesome. I love those 2 characters!!!!

This is great! I would have been quite shocked if they took they Muppets away. They need to have them featured somewhere and most of it already is so well themed. Hope we get a cool themed restaurant. Be it counter or table service. You'd think Chef would be an obvious, but I guess they could do something else.

Hoping they can find some room to add another Muppet themed attraction here . The re-themeing of the restaurants will be great if they do it right but I'd really like to see another attraction .

I wouldn't mind Muppet Melrose at all, if they would just keep that Chicken Campanelle on the menu. ;)

This could be a touchy area since that was the last project Jim Henson ever directed.

I think they could have lots of play room if they want to get creative. The Christmas store can leave. The Muppet store can be redesigned and has storage space that could be opened. They could cut the walls from the exit straight over to where the Cars and Phineas & Ferb were to create a large space. Depending on what is going on Streets of America they could build something long and narrow where the fake buildings were along Muppet area.

I am happy if it stays and excited if they expand it some.

Yeah, I get that. I love the show the way it is too, but it is a little long in the tooth. Just sitting in the Muppet Theater is enough for me, even if it does get destroyed. I wouldn't mind seeing something like the Muppet Show, where they play the opening, show two or three sketches and still end with in-theater effects. Maybe we could even have a random selection of scenes like Star Tours. It's just wild musings though. They should absolutely NOT shut it down for a refurb until all other projects are finished and open to the public.
