1) For some reason, Florida Highway Patrol troopers (FHP) are stationed at the employee entrances to the parks.
2) They are stationed "Back Stage", where guests do not drive or have access.
. . . For traffic issues, Disney contracts with the County Sheriff Department, not FHP
. . . Employees do not have stickers on their cars, like college students, so they are not checking for authorized parking
. . . Since this is Back Stage, the Troopers are not looking for, or at, guests
. . . The units do not have their radar guns out looking for CM's who speed (which many do)
. . . No one has seen a Trooper get out of his squad car and actually do anything.
3) Weird.

NOTE: I can not and will not speculate on the reasons, but just pointing out something strange.

It might be related to the Special Olympics Florida State games.. I know the torch came through the area mid saturday afternoon on it's was to espn where it's held every year. It always has an impressive police escort and possible they add extra security during it.. I'm not sure who might be attending but it could just be a general over protection someone important in the area situation.

Before the rerouting of the roads behind the MK, it wasn't unusual at all to see FHP there directing traffic.

Is that a potential hole in park security and so they're there to just give the appearance of enforcing security?
