Mummy still opening as scheduled?

I realize this is probably a dumb question, but we are going to Universal for the first time Friday after next, so we're still new to this.
I noticed lots of people rode the Mummy as a "preview" ride of sorts. According the the Universal website, its still scheduled to open officially Friday (the 21rst). Is this still the plan?
